With pars Pralinen, Kristiane Kegelmann combines indulgence with sculptural texture. She comes from a master confectionary background, worked at the K. u K. Hofzuckerbäckerei Demel in Vienna, among other places, before devoting herself to the fine arts. In her practice, she juxtaposes solid, durable materials with fragile, sometimes ephemeral materials that are characterized by their flexibility or processual nature. She has been running the pars restaurant in Berlin since November 2022.
