Sylvia Sadzinski works at the interfaces of contemporary art, curatorial practice and queerfeminist theory. She writes, researches, teaches and curates, always investigating the critical potential of curatorial and artistic practices. Since 2019, she has been artistic co-director of the feminist exhibition space alpha nova & galerie futura in Berlin, which has existed since 1986 and currently teaches at the University of the Arts Berlin and at the Node Center for Curatorial Studies.
