Karl Karner is an Austrian visual artist who positions his work between the disciplines of sculpture, performance and climate-friendly land art. Karner was initially trained as an artistic caster at the Loderer foundry in Feldbach (Styria). He subsequently studied sculpture at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna in the class of Heimo Zobernig.
